Phronetic.ai is a new AI business venture of Infibeam Avenues, one of the publicly listed fintech companies in India. This division is formed to build AI applications catering to large enterprises and governments across different domains. Operating as a startup within the company, this team works closely with several academic research groups to bring in the latest research & development to the market.

As a key member of our core team, you will be involved in fine-tuning and deploying large-scale AI models, guided by some of the industry's foremost experts. Your role will be deeply immersed in cutting-edge areas such as advanced video stream analytics, natural language generation and performance optimization of large multimodal models. Responsibilities

As a machine learning engineer on the team, you will:

• Collaborate with Machine Learning scientists to design and develop sophisticated machine learning models
• Create project plan, execute end to end and evaluate the ML systems
• Implement and fine tune the state of the art neural network architectures
• Stay up to date with state of the art algorithms in multimodal deep learning techniques
• Work with large-scale datasets, preprocess and create  
• Cross functional collaboration with researchers, software developers, and product managers
• Document and communicate thought process, technical findings and evaluation results
• Productionize the trained (deep learning) models
• Continuously monitor the performance of the models and iterate as needed
• Mentor and guide junior engineers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in AI/ML, Computer Science, Statistics or other relevant fields with 5+ years of AI/ML experience for Bachelors and 2+ years for Masters

• Depth of knowledge in Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Data Science
• Prior experience in deep learning, machine learning, natural language processing or computer vision
• Strong programming skills in Python or C++ in a production environment
• Experience in developing production ready code with best practices
• Industry experience with machine learning tools such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch among others
• Good understanding of statistics, linear algebra, and probability theory
• Industry experience in CI/CD processes
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments such as aws will be a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large scale data processing using Spark or other big data technologies
• Experience with CUDA will be a plus
